Location was lovely

On Booking.com is wasn't clear that the off street patking was in a garage only suitable for small cars because of the tightness of the entrance due to the wall opposite.

A beautiful little cottage tucked away in a quiet lane in the lovely town of Dulverton. Perfect for access to Exmoor and the coast. A high quality interior with window seats, lovely bedrooms, well fitted kitchen breakfast bar and generous bathroom.

A little rearrange of the furniture in the lounge would make it more user friendly.

Lovely village, locals friendly (apart from the neighbour), good location to get to lots of attractions. Packet of biscuits as a 'welcome'

Narrow driveway which you had to reverse up and then back into a garage. Larger cars needed to park the car park next door and pay extra. Neighbour at end of driveway and hostile towards us. Drove past at high speed, showering us with dust and stones on more than one occasion. Cottage has no garden and no windows on one side of the building, absolutely no character to it whatsoever. No view from other windows apart from overgrown trees and high brick wall. Vulux windows in the roof couldn't be opened in bathroom or landing. Bed frame in cheap vinyl plastic covering, mattresses on all beds uncomfortable. Toilet cistern leaks, multiple areas of black mould in shower, microwave dirty, Mugs provided so badly cracked that they need replacing (we went and bought our own). Cheap plastic kettle, cheap toaster that is so small it only toasts 75% of the bread slice, the usual blunt knife block. Kitchen utensils needed replacing. Wifi and TV streaming very slow. Lounge dark so lights on even during the day. Saggy old sofa, two other chairs were unsuitable. Hideous, large dark brown table in lounge too high for coffee table, too low for kitchen bar stools (also in plastic brown covering). Worn, faded, dirty rug in lounge. Providing a dog bowl does not constitute "dog friendly" status. Gate at bottom of stairs with note "no dogs allowed upstairs" and also note "no dogs on furniture downstairs" so unless you want your dog to sleep on a cold kitchen floor area of 6 ft by 2ft then don't bring a dog! We left a day early due to being so uncomfortable from the beds and seating downstairs and nowhere to relax as no garden and having to 'deal' with the fury of the neighbour for no apparent reason.
