The location in the beautiful town of Ribérac was perfect, with the famous weekly market just a short stroll down the hill and well worth a visit. La Maison Chaleureuse was simply exceptional. The Nautical Apartment was beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing long weekend. The warm welcome and thoughtful touches made our stay even more special. Arriving to a bottle of wine, a fresh French baguette, and essentials stocked in the fridge made settling in effortless. The pre-arrival information pack and video tour were incredibly helpful and built excitement for the trip long before we arrived. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable, with a lovely bathroom featuring both a spacious shower and a bathtub. One of the highlights of each day was opening the shutters in the morning to see the pool sparkling in the sunshine. The swimming pool is beautiful and maintained at the perfect temperature, while the gardens and surrounding areas are beautifully landscaped and meticulously cared for. Annie and Danny's passion, pride, and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the property. They are truly outstanding hosts who go above and beyond for their guests—even kindly giving us a lift to the wedding we were attending, saving us a taxi fare and making the entire weekend even more relaxed and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend La Maison Chaleureuse to anyone looking for a memorable, welcoming, and relaxing getaway in the heart of the Dordogne.
