Location, terrace facing the beach, decor, host’s availability (after finding the correct phone number). It’s a beautiful house which needs better management.

Hopefully this has been corrected, but the confirmation email gave us an outdated, inactive phone number and the address didn’t translate to a particular point on google maps. This led to a stressful, hours long scavage hunt. We called booking to figure out what to do in case of a scam, we called other restaurants and hotels on google maps, and somehow someone in tanger knew who we needed to speak to. At that point we arranged our arrival and everything went OK. The host hadn’t replied to our messages on booking, until this point. On arrival, the beds weren’t made, laundry was drying but fully wet. Shower and taps visibly not well taken care of. Some beds were sandy. There were enough dry sheets in the wardrobes for us to make our own beds. Intense sewage smell in the single room downstairs made it impossible for my friend to sleep, dishwasher wasnt working, some pans were very clearly dirty when we took them out of the cupboards. Some were ok. On our second night the electricity went out 6 times. We weren’t using much, but wanted to cook and couldn’t (electric stove). All in all the location and decor just made it fine, but it could have been great :)
