6 Headwards Glamping Retreat

Just what we needed for something completely different, not been camping for over 16 years, so thought this would be a good compromise

Fantastic location right near the beach. On-site facilities very well maintained. At first I was a little surprised that there was no plumbed-in water but I soon got used to it and it became quite a quirky novelty of the holiday. The van was very basically decorated and very functional but it had a really quirky individuality that really grew on me throughout my stay. I don't think it would appeal to some people but I loved it. I didn't know what to expect from a 'glamping' holiday but the value for money and the fact that I could get somewhere at all in peak season was a real deal breaker. Overall I was very happy with this cross-over between caravanning and camping. Highly recommended.

Location ok . Near to shops

Finding it was very difficult. Veranda unsafe. Sofa had soft spots. Toilet in caravan too low. No running water in caravan. Difficult to get toilet through door to empty it. Couldn't find area on site to wash dishes.
