Trapani Terrace

The location is perfect! Close to the Old Historic Town of Trapani just a 15/20 minute stroll along Via Fardella (with its shops, cafes, bars, restaurants also the main road for buses). Also within a 35 minute walk to both the beach at San Giuliano and the cable car station for Mount Erice and its historic town. Trapani Terrace is a great apartment. Perfect for couples. Set up very well to self cater with a full kitchen, oven, grill, hob, kettle, coffee machine, herbs and cutlery/crockery. We stayed for 12 days and didn’t need to use the washing machine but got those staying longer this is useful. There is a double bed plus a single couch bed, dining table and chairs. Now truly this is a gem as Trapani Terrace is all about The Terrace!!! A covered canopy to shade from the hot Sicilian sunshine and a large terrace to sunbathe and soak up the heat! Watch the world go by below in the busy street. When it’s too hot have a cool shower in the modern bathroom with complimentary soap, shampoo and shower gels. 4 flights of stairs but as long as you are fit and healthy the partial Mountain View’s are the bonus! Opposite is the locally renowned restaurant La Tavernetta - best pizzas and warm Sicilian Service. Nicola welcomed us and was informative and passionate about his home city. He was always available to speak to for advice and help in What’s App or phone. The owner and her family are lovely. We met them and again they are all friendly and warm.

There were a few teething problems with a water pump however in my opinion the measure of a business and its people is how they find solutions and empathise with the customer. The “Trapani Terrace” team especially Nicola and Eliana responded promptly and positively. Very impressed. It can get a little hot on the roof so if you are not used to the heat and temperatures a fan would help with air circulation. We enjoy the warmth so this is just an observation.

Posizione buona a 10 minuti di camminata dal centro e fuori dalla zona più trafficata! L'appartamento rispetta tutto quello che c'è scritto nella descrizione! Il ragazzo che mi ha contattato molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha pure inviato le attrazioni nelle vicinanze e piantine della città! Molto disponibile anche a qualsiasi richiesta o consiglio!

Personalmente mi sono trovato molto bene, unica nota a mio parere da migliorare la pressione dell'acqua della doccia è un po' debole, per una donna che deve lavare i capelli resta un po' difficoltoso! Altra cosa nella descrizione c'era scritto che era presente il barbecue ma invece non c'era!
