Very clean, modern apartment. The Douro Valley is gorgeous!

Pinhao is an interesting city. Downtown has many shops and restaurants, but also many buildings that are deserted and falling apart. Multiple restaurants required cash payment, no credit cards.

Location was wonderful, in the small town of Pinhao, where we could walk everywhere, including across the Douro River to wineries. The 2-bedroom 2-bath apartment on the second floor was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. We had a spectacular view of the river and mountains. Our host and his staff were responsive to our every request and need, including help with suitcases going up the outside steps. As it happened, a laundromat across the street was useful. Visitors should check specific opening days of various establishments as many are closed mid-week.

The living/dining space could use a bit more furniture, perhaps a small armchair in addition to the futon. The walls are a stark white which would benefit by a softer color.

Localização muito boa com vista para o rio. Ficamos no quarto 2.1. Na verdade lá é uma apartamento com 2 quartos sendo uma suíte. Tem uma cozinha e um banheiro social. Nós eramos um casal, entao só usamos a suite. O outro quarto ficou sem usar. La tem uma sacada privativa com vista para o rio muito bonita. Ao chegarmos, no local tinha um vinho do porto, agua, café e mexericas. A cozinha era bem equipada, porem como ficamos apenas uma noite, não usamos.
