Everything was wonderful, and I really liked the house. The only thing is that there are a few things that need to be mentioned. There were several things I did not like. First of all, the location of the house is convenient, near the sea, but on cool days, the inside of the house was also quite cold. Unfortunately, there were no means to warm up — no electric fireplace or heater. We had to buy a blanket in a store to cover ourselves at night. The apartment is fairly comfortable, and it has everything needed for living, but the furniture is quite old and definitely needs to be replaced. This concerns the sofa on the first floor, the armchairs, and the beds in the two bedrooms. Unfortunately, the bed linen is already worn out and should be renewed. Additionally, as I mentioned, warm blankets are needed in case it gets cold. I would like to mention the large TV in the main room — it was very exciting for us, but unfortunately, it did not work. We asked the owner to do something and repair it, but during the three weeks we were there, no one was able to fix it. Therefore, we used only the internet on our phones to watch movies or entertainment. The TV was unavailable to us. The apartment opens directly onto a street, which is one of the main streets in the area. From morning to evening, a large number of cars pass by, so this should be taken into account. Also, neighbors can be heard from different sides because the sound insulation is not great — you can hear what is happening in other apartments. We had a small dog with us, and we are very grateful that it was allowed to stay with us. However, nearby there were apartments with large dogs that barked constantly, which was a bit stressful. The apartment has stone floors, and it would be good to have some rugs or mats, as well as a vacuum cleaner for cleaning. There is a small shop nearby, which is convenient.
We stayed at this place for 20 days and would probably have agreed to stay longer, because, overall, the atmosphere in this area is very nice. People are quite open, kind-hearted, very friendly, and responsive. Everyone always greeted us and treated our small dog very kindly. Therefore, if we could come back next year, we probably would, because it is really a good place when you are looking for some privacy. There are very few people on the beach. The only drawback is that the beach is sometimes affected by strong winds and isn’t always very comfortable, but we felt safe and comfortable there. Overall, we had a very positive impression. Despite some negative aspects, I really enjoyed our stay.

The place was just so lovely & felt really homely & was spotlessly clean 😃 really easy self check in & the owner was great at replying 😃 they also left beach towels which was brilliant as i only had a rucksack so hadn’t packed one - the shower was really good & the balcony where i spent most nights just enjoying the heat as home was 6 degrees & stormy & rain 😂 It was in a local village & definitely saw a different side of Tenerife which i much prefer ❤️ the locals were so lovely & it was very safe & calm for a solo girl traveller & i love walking so the remote location didnt bother me at all & i quickly learnt the piblic transport & visited Santa Cruz & San Cristobal De Le Laguna easily & also got buses to & from airport too ❤️

Good accommodation in a quiet street close to the sea. Good facilities.
La Jaca was too small and remote for my needs as I was on foot. There was one grocery shop and a coffee shop but the nearest restaurant most days was a 3 mile walk away. You really need a hire car to stay here. I was disappointed that when I arrived at the agreed time, there was nobody there and it took over an hour to obtain entry.
