Daffodil Cottage in Downtown Packwood, WIFI, BBQ, Firepit, Smores

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house! Our host was incredibly kind. The location is perfect, within walking distance of Packwood village, while still offering a peaceful setting with nice views of Mt. Rainier. The backyard was a highlight of our stay — a beautiful space where we enjoyed a wonderful barbecue together. To make it even more memorable, an elk family came to visit and enjoy the apples from the tree in the yard. It was such a unique and exciting experience that we will never forget! We would happily come back again and highly recommend it!

Spacious! Way more room for our family of 6 than I anticipated! Walkable to restaurants and close to Steven’s Canyon entrance! My kids loved the s’mores and backyard! The s’more’s were well thought out with electric option if you don’t want fire pit! I also appreciated that the check out process was not excessive… very reasonable 3 steps! The binder was also helpful but not overwhelming! The info saved us from going to a location with hungry kids that doesn’t serve food.

Not a big deal- I recommend a pizza pan and cutter for frozen pizza and a measuring cup. If those are my complaints it really was amazing.

Big rooms, super comfortable beds, view of Mt. Rainier from the backyard, mid-century modern furnishings, PacMan machine and bunk beds were a hit with the kids (big and small).

More cooking utensils and oven mitts would have been helpful when using the oven and stove top.
