Hôme des bois és un lloc singular situat al bell mig de l'Arieja on es duu a terme un projecte ecològic i autosostenible molt interessant. Cal considerar que aquest tipus d'allotjament pot no agradar a tots els públics ja que el concepte autosostenible en aquest cas comporta una certa austeritat que fa de l'indret un lloc encara més inhòspit: dues làmpares alimentades amb bateria solar, dutxa solar, wc sec (tot i que no separa líquids i sòlids), poca connexió mòbil...
La puntuació positiva té en compte les dificultats que comporta aquests tipus de projectes i la voluntat que hi ha darrera, tot i que aspectes com el manteniment de les instal·lacions, tancaments i la higiene en general són millorables.
