Polixeni's House

Polyxeni our host was amazing. She treated us like family, welcomed us with cakes and borek, has filled the fridge and prepared everything for us. The house was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. AC and blackout in every room, extra towels etc. super close to Alinda beach which we loved.

Polixeni and her family live such a graceful and happy life, and this is reflected in the house. The home is spotless, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen just as we liked, and we enjoyed sitting and dining in the garden, taking in the fresh, breezy air of Leros. The bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, and every room had air conditioning. The house is in a fantastic location, just a two-minute walk from the sea. They were so thoughtful; anticipating that we might be hungry upon arrival, they had stocked the fridge with food and drinks. During our stay, Poly even baked a cake and brought it over for us. We were very comfortable, grew very fond of this family, and would love to return to Leros and stay with them again.

The house and the amenities were perfect. Every detail in the house was thoughtfully taken care of, and all the things you would normally have to buy yourself in most houses, Polixeni had already provided for you. I’ve stayed in countless houses across Europe, and this was by far the cleanest one I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were huge, and the garden was wonderful. Polixeni is an amazing person—she even brought us homemade desserts and pastries. We loved Polixeni like a mother. Words are not enough to describe either the house or her. Together with our group of friends, we made wonderful memories.
