Marnita Farmhouse at Golden Grove Estate Winery

A very comfortable property for our group. Located at the Golden Grove Cellar Door was a great bonus. There are around 5 wineries along Sundown Road, which could be walking distance of each other for those who enjoy a good walk.

Great location & exceptionally clean. Between the kitchen/dining, lounge room, games room, sun room & outdoor bbq area there was plenty of space to congregate as a group or get away for quiet time. The Golden Grove Winery is right next door, with a couple of others within walking distance. Tim was a great source of knowledge when we did a wine tasting, while enjoying a very tasty, well presented, good value Charcuterie Board. The tasting room is nicely located with panoramic views over the property and a variety of seating options. With the vineyard immediately behind the house it was nice for an early morning stroll. As the evening closed in the house was quickly warmed with a great fire (which was set ready to go when we arrived) and an abundance of chopped wood to keep it going. A bottle of wine for us on arrival was yet another nice touch, along with a well resourced kitchen and some basic pantry items. Plenty of good quality books and games if you had time to use them.

Absolutely nothing to fault.

The Farmhouse was very comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen was excellent. The property was well located and the owners were very helpful.

The house was clean and the beds comfortable . The location was good for Girraween National Park

Very disappointed to realise that one of the two bathrooms was actually outside and the only other one was at the other end of the property, not near the bedrooms . It would have been nice to look out of the windows but most of them had obscure glass
