K43 Brand-New Stylish - Cloud9 in the city

Nice neighborhood not far from the heart of Athens. Spacious one bed apartment, comfortable bed, washing machine.

The room is on the ground floor, so it’s not particularly bright. Cleaning supplies are also left around, which doesn’t exactly add to the overall impression. The listing on Booking.com says there is a coffee machine, but you have to buy your own coffee. It also mentions parking, which is true, but it’s off-street parking rather than a dedicated parking space. The shower head doesn’t stay on the wall, so you have to hold it in your hand while showering. These are all small things and nothing major, so overall, we had a good experience!

Foarte aproape de statii de transport in comun care te duc rapid in centru. Foate aproape de magazin alimentar, farmacii, bacanie, restaurante unde poti sa mananci mai fancy sau la preturi mici. Gazda a fost foarte amabila si a incercat sa ne multumeasca.

La check in, la ora 17.30, doamna de la curatenie inca pregatea apartamentul pentru noi. A doua zi am chemat-o din nou, pentru ca in livingroom canapeaua nu putea fi folosita datorita mizeriei de pe ea. O problema este zgomotul: ferestrele si usa nu izoleaza fonic deloc. Dupa o noapte in care nu am dormit absolut deloc (auzeam si pasii trecatorilor de pe trotuar) ne-am cumparat dopuri pentru urechi.

The property was clean and well equipped, easy to access and quiet neighbourhood. Although not in the centre of Athens it was only a 25 minute walk to the main sites and still within easy reach of some lovely cafes and restaurants in Koukaki and the Philopappos Park. Perfect for our 3 night stay.

The property is right on the street, ground floor, so was a bit noisy with some traffic and wasn't a great 'balcony' to sit on.

The apartment is in a very nice location, in a quiet central neighborhood, only about a 30-minute walk from all the main attractions. The apartment itself is very pleasant, modern, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

At first, we noticed a few disadvantages: the walls were not well soundproofed and the blinds were not thick enough, so it was quite noisy and bright at night. We also noticed that a mirror had fallen off the wall. It wasn`t broken, so this did not bother us. However, we would NEVER stay there again because of the owners. Shortly after we arrived, we noticed that the shower hose was broken, making it impossible to shower normally because water was spraying everywhere. We contacted the owners and asked them to fix it. They came the evening next day, without informing us beforehand that they would enter the apartment. After fixing the shower, they called us and accused us of breaking the mirror and said that we had to pay for it. This was completely untrue. On top of that, we had washed the bed sheets, which were completely clean, but they mentioned around ten times that if we had caused any stains, we would have to pay for them. Our communication through the chat was, of course, completely polite and professional, but the man we spoke to on the phone was extremely unfriendly and, at times, aggressive. Honestly, they managed to ruin our holiday. Being accused of something you did not do is extremely unpleasant and unfair. Good luck!
