Amarantos-Traditional Village House-Apollona

The place is amazing. Quiet area. Lovely people, friendly neighbours. Good location as central of the island. Perfect if you have a car. Property looks exactly as in photos. Beautiful traditional house with all you need in it. Fully equipped from the kitchen stuff to washing machine plus washing liquid. Enough towels, bed sheets, pillows. Comfortable beds. Whatever you need to buy is available in the local shop. The owner is fabulous, very kind, and helpful. I recommend the place. We have been there as family of 5, and there was enough space for all. Very good WiFi.

Our stay at Amarantos Apollona exceeded all expectations. The house is beautifully restored, exceptionally clean, and preserves the authentic character of a traditional Rhodian home while offering every modern comfort. It is peaceful, spacious, and the attention to detail makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Manolis, the host, was incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend renting a car, as this is the perfect base for exploring Rhodes. Most of the island's best beaches and attractions are only 30–50 minutes away, allowing you to experience both the stunning coastline and the authentic mountain villages. Property is perfect for families between 2 and 5 as there are two separate rooms with 3 doulbebeds alltogheter. If you're looking for a genuine Greek experience away from the crowds, this is the perfect place. We would definitely stay here again!

Dit geheel vernieuwde authentiek Grieks 'stonehouse' heeft een beetje een tinyhouse idee en was voor ons een fijn verblijf. De charme van het huisje en het dorpje waarin het ligt geeft je een echt Griekse beleving. Het huisje heeft 3 stuks tweepersoons bedsteden met trapje wat onze kinderen ook erg leuk vonden. Het dorpje ligt in het binnenland en is wat hoger gelegen. Naar Lindos reden wij met onze huurauto in 30 minuten. Faliraki ongeveer 45 minuten en Rhodos haven/ oude centrum 60 minuten. Vliegveld ongeveer 45 minuten. Bosrijke omgeving die je mag bewonderen elke dag als je het dorp uitrijdt en weer terugkomt van een dagje uit. Ook een wijnproeverij in de buurt. Het dorpje heeft 2 kleine winkeltjes en is vredig en rustig. Het huisje ligt nabij een mooie kerk. De auto parkeerden wij op een groot terrein nabij de kerk en dan is het een kort en leuk loopje van en naar het huis via het kerkpleintje iedere dag. De eigenaren maar ook de mensen in het dorp zijn erg vriendelijk. Alles is mooier dan op de foto's. Heb zelf ook wat foto's toegevoegd.
