Le Flourens by Béziers 1609 Residences

It was an excellent location for the historic town and bars and restaurants. The apartment was well equipped and had what you would need for a short break. Excellent air conditioning which was essential!

Our apartment was on the fourth floor and quite a hike up and down the stairs. As the apartment was so central, it was noisy at night especially on the Saturday night.

Stairs, work going on , stripping plaster off walls while we were there, plaster dust on Stairs all week, not altogether safe.

communication from the hosts was terrible. I had to chase them for the lockbox instructions and they failed to tell me which was my apartment so I had to try the code in 6 lockboxes. The WhatsApp number they gave me was not attended so I got no replies to my messages

Communications

Location was good. Apartment was clean, nicely decorated and well furnished. Everything was easy to find/use.

There is a lot of street noise at night, goes with it being a good central location. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs! The stairwell and shared area is shabby and could do with being tidied up. Major spoiler for me was I didn't get the apartment I reserved and the owner is not interested. Unfortunately this put a damper on our stay and the owner hasn't tried to improve the experience. Be warned! The problem is there are 6 apartments and none have a name or number to help identify them. So if you want to make sure you get the apartment you reserved go somewhere else....I would next time!
