Wonderful base to explore this area of Tuscany, but also a lovely location and house as well! There is a lot of space indoors and a huge garden as well. Kitchen is well equipped and coffee was provided as well. Lovely touch to leave us some Vin Santo and biscotti as a welcome dish. Parking was arranged by the host just outside the city wall, and it is possible to bring a car up to the front door to drop off luggage - but it is in the ZTL so make sure that is sorted. One of the days we were there it was quite chilly outside (very windy at the top of the hill) but there is very good heating to keep the house warm
Certaldo is really beautiful as well - has museums and walks, and some really nice restaurants and bars too. L'Antica Fonte was our favourite with a shady terrace where you can just see San Gimignano in the distance. At the bottom of the hill there is a also a very nice bakery where we got pastries in the morning - quite a climb back up but worth it!

Loved everything! Such good people. Great space in a perfect location. The garden is so beautiful and delicious food right next door. We were very happy.
