Central 1-Bedroom Apartment with City Views

Location is near all public transport.

The key collection check-in and checkout is 800m from the apartment. It is inconvenient with children and luggage. No top up of coffee and tea once finish the first round. Cars are not able to drive to the front of the apartment. Have to walk to the side of the stretch of buildings

I love looove the location. Very accessible, bldg is easy to find. Food, grocery, liquor shops, market, pharmacy within 5min walk. Train and lightrail tram access just a few steps from the bldg. main door and elevator needs keyfob aceess so felt secure. Spacious unit, 2 balconies, functional kitchen, very comfortable bed and pillows, living room with tv is comfortable as well. Enjoyed my morning coffee in the balcony facing the trains and light rail tram. Noise is kept low it never bothered me since bedroom is on the other end. Appreciate the professionalism of MadeComfy team. Will consider staying here again once minor renovation is done :)

I already communicated directly to MadeComfy the issues on cleanliness and some broken items. They are minimal, however needs to be addressed. More thorough cleaning needed and minor renovation would make the unit perfect. 9/10 only due to those factors. Bigger shower would be nice and ample supplies on extended stays would be appreciated.

The apartment is really lovely. Very modern and spacious in a very central part of the city. The facilities in the apartment were great. I liked that washing up liquid, laundry powder, dishwasher powder and coffee pods were provided. The wifi was also great as I had to do some work while I was there.

Sadly the collection of the keys process was terrible. The keys had not been handed back to the convenience store by the previous guests and I only found out when I tried to go and collect them. There was no process to ensure they had been returned. This was then followed by a complex process of phoning a call centre who didn't know where the keys were. They told me to go to get the spare pair in the mailbox of the apartment, but they weren't there either. I had to call the call centre multiple times, speaking to someone who didn't speak great English. Took me over two hours for the call centre people to work out where the spare keys were. I had just arrived from a 24hr flight from the UK so as you can imagine I was very distressed by this situation. Luckily I was with my Australian cousin who provided me access to his phone to make phone calls. I eventually had to find alternative accommodation (the IBIS Styles) nearby for my first night in Sydney, again through the help of my cousin. If he hadn't have been there it would have been even more stressful. The keys were eventually located and I was told to go pick them up from a different mailbox and I moved into the apartment the next day. Unfortunately the only compensation the apartment company offered me for this terrible service was a refund for the first night. I would have appreciated the reimbursement of my IBIS night also. I hope the owners can find a better way of supplying the keys because to rely on previous guests to return them to a convenience store half a km away is pretty bad and full of risk, like what I experienced. I would never have stayed in this apartment if I'd know how bad this process would be.
