Howdy Hermosa

Overall, a nice place to stay, if a little dated. The kitchen is well-equipped, the regular beds are comfortable, and there's WiFi. Clean and well-kept. There's no AC, but it stayed cool enough in early June. The location is OK, about 10-15 minutes north of Durango.

DO NOT rent this property through Booking. The original posting is listed on Vacasa, and Booking hosts the Vacasa listing. We needed to change dates after the cancellation window, and I could see there was availability. However, when I called Booking, they told me to call Vacasa, and Vacasa told me to call Booking. I managed to escape the customer service doom loop through the Booking messaging service, but I don't know why that worked and calling did not. Save yourself the hassle and go straight to Vacasa. Also, the pull out sofa bed sucks. It's really bad.

It was a very well stocked condo, lots of towels, kitchen appliances, and such. Decent size living quarters. As for location, it is a nice blend of quick to Durango and a jump to Purgatory if you are a skier.

There was no outdoor furniture on the front porch. Nothing that would prevent a return visit.
