We traveled with my 84 year old dad. The proximity to public transportation was the best. People recommend staying in Valleta because it's central but I find that this property's location in Sliema is by far the best. There were so many restaurants and stores within feet from the property, usually open until at least 1 am. The apartment is really well insulated you didn't hear any noise from the restaurants.
There was so much space that you never felt trapped like in a hotel room if you didn't go out. You could sit on the balcony and enjoy great views. I can imagine the apartment would have really nice temperature in the summer as each room has an A/C unit. The check-in instructions were very clear. Communication with the host was excellent. The value for the price was more than fair in my opinion
I think an actual coffee maker would be great. Also, they have a washer (heavy duty-will destroy delicates) but no dryer. With the humidity there, clothes take forever to dry. I think they could splurge on a dryer. A few mirrors outside the bathrooms would make it easier to get ready when the bathrooms are occupied. The bathrooms need some TLC. The seats on the toilets need replacement ASAP, and the drain in one of the bathrooms sink doesn't work well. The water accumulates in it. The towels need replacements too, they have a musty smell (this is understandable again as the apartment is right in front of the sea). The dishwasher needs some attention. It seemed like there were little bugs in there.
