Elegant Escape 2BR BA Sunny Apt

Location, quiet and traditional. Secure entry, spacious apartment, lovely openable doors/windows, bright and cheerful colours, funky wallpaper - interior decoration was lovely. The apartment was clean to the eye on arrival. Bedroom 1 - The main bedroom was lovey with all openable doors , plenty space and loads of wardrobes with hangers, spare towels were found in a laundry bag. Advert said 2 bathrooms - This turned out to be 1 bathroom and 1 toilet Beds were super comfy as was the pillows Main Bathroom, good sized bath but shower curtain too long. curtain rail was flimsy and a struggle to pull the curtain without fear of breaking the rail. Tea/coffee/sugar available. Lots of cleaning equipment, washing up liquid, cloths etc were all available. Table and chairs on Balcony, drying airer. washing machine although very noisy on spin !! TV worked. Air con was a hit or a miss.

Toilet only (not a 2nd bathroom) door was faulty and had toilet paper stuffed in the locking panel, when using the toilet , you could close the door but couldn't get out. !! No place to hang towel, small window which was within the building when opened stench off cigarettes. Bedroom 2 - No rail within wardrobe in smaller room, coat hangers were in room but nothing to hang from. Double socket under the dressing table area which you have to crawl under to plug in. quilt was far too small for the duvet. Kitchen - No microwave available. Toaster was found in the back of a cupboard underneath counter top, had to clean it before use. Glass cups/mugs stained and dirty. all cupboards need cleaned, crockery felt tacky. Kettle was badly stained, had to descale before use. Perhaps Housekeeping staff could check these items as it lets the show down on the cleanliness of the apartment. Advert said - Wheelchair accessible but it wasn't, step off main street, with further 6 steps inside hallway. Lift very small so i would doubt a wheelchair user cold fit in it. No Hot Tub as advertised. 4 Adults sharing one shower in the main Bathroom with hot water needing 15mins to heat up was not acceptable, the one and only shower was over the bath - The curtain rail was flimsy and a struggle to pull the curtain without fear of breaking the rail. WiFi broke down and caused a problem for us.
