I liked the rural location, and the house was well-equipped in general and spacious. It felt quite secure/safe and was very nicely renovated. We were not able to take advantage of all the space or amenities, since we were only two people and didn’t spend much time there.
This is a minor thing: Even though it was out in the country, there were neighboring houses close by and a dog(s?) that barked whenever we would go in the backyard, which was off-putting. We didn’t really plan to spend much time outdoors, though, due to the hot weather. Also, it took me some time to figure out that the shower controls for hot and cold water in the primary walk-in shower were reversed. I just thought there was no hot water.
