The apartment was sufficient for a family of 3 members. It was in a calm and quiet neighbourhood. The bed was decent. There was a large window in the living room.
Hands down, THE WORST check-in experience ever. Minutes before scheduled check-in, I was sent a link by the owner, asking me to add my details, post which I would get the access code for the door. However, this link was asking me to may the payment of the entire fees again. This was shocking - because I had already paid for the property on booking dot com I reached out to the owner, but the owner was completely unresponsive - not picking my call and not replying to my messages. I had to then call the customer care. The customer care also tried calling the owner, but the owner didnt respond. At one point, the customer care executive also got fed up calling the owner and offered me a voucher and told me that they would support me with another booking. After a 45 minute wait, and the customer care repeatedly calling the owner, the owner finally sent me the access codes. Wait, this is where it gets even more interesting. There are 2 doors - the door to the building and the door to the apartment. The access code information was unclear as to which door had what access code. So, when we arrived at the place after an 8 hour drive, the check-in experience was the most painful one ever. To top it all up - the parking instructions said "Do not park on the sidewalk. Parking is 200 meters away from the apartment" 200 meters where? Underground? This one was THE BEST parking instructions I have ever come across.
