Country House and Estate - Herdade da Azinheira

This house was amazing! We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms, and it was SO quiet. The 2 living rooms with fireplaces were very comfortable, and the entire house was thoughtfully furnished with large antique pieces. Everything that needed to be modern was, and everything that could remain original seemed to be. We had everything we needed for our family, including equipment for a toddler and 2 babies. In all areas the house was well stocked, and the bottles of wine left for us by the staff were appreciated. While the somewhat isolated placement of the hacienda might not suit everyone, we loved being with the cows in the rolling olive groves. Trata-se de um verdadeiro monte típico alentejano. A casa foi recuperada e decorada com muito gosto e cuidado e está muito bem equipada. A paisagem é fabulosa e perfeita harmonia entre quem descansa e os animais de pasto que a circundam. Tendo a nossa estadia sido em dezembro a casa está bastante bem aquecida, quer por lareiras, quer por aquecimentos em todas as divisões. Os anfitriões foram super atenciosos tornando a nossa estadia (5 casais e 3 crianças) simplesmente inesquecível. Vamos de certeza repetir.
