De locatie op zich is heel centraal gelegen. De ligging, maar ook het vriendelijke onthaal beviel ons heel erg. Ik geef mee in de kantlijn dat we net op reis waren tijdens de hittegolf! Dat betekent dat we niet echt neutraal kunnen oordelen en dat sommige zaken (zoals de warmte) buiten de mogelijkheden liggen van de gastheer en -dame. We moeten dus eerlijk en voorzichtig oordelen. Was het 15 graden minder warm geweest, dan hadden we een heel andere score kunnen geven als het over comfort gaat. Dat neemt niet weg dat onze gastheer- en vrouw er alles hebben aan gedaan om de hitte zo goed als mogelijk 'draaglijk' te maken. Eender waar, met temperaturen boven de 35 à 40 graden heb je nu eenmaal weinig comfort zonder airco. Vandaar allicht een ietwat vertekend beeld van een 'normale' overnachting.
Op zich niets, buiten de besloten 'warmte' in het huis, waar onze gastheer - en dame dus echt niets konden aan doen.
