Nice place and memorable surroundings, but key amenities and the post-stay handling did not match what was promised for

The property itself is nice and has a great setting. The walk to the beach felt like a little adventure - we even saw wild boars on the way.

Given the high price, we expected the advertised amenities to be reliably available. The jacuzzi was not usable and not clean; a staff member told us it had been broken for quite some time. The veranda was not covered as described. The pool heating was not activated despite our request, and without it the pool was simply too cold to use in October. After check-out, communication was disappointing and a significant amount was deducted from the security deposit without transparent supporting evidence (final invoice/photos) provided upfront. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written, but the frustration in our group was too great to leave this unmentioned.

The view was beautiful.

The £1500 CASH deposit is just ridiculous. They should keep the card details like every other booking site. The jacuzzi didn’t work; it was ice cold. Coffee machine was jammed. Mouldy sun-bed cushions! Broken garden furniture. Loose bed side shelves, not suitable for use! They should be tables not shelves.

Beautifully designed villa with incredible views—pure relaxation

Casa Toscana exceeded every expectation. This stunning, spacious, newly renovated villa, situated on the hills near Saint Aygulf, offers an amazing view of the Esterel mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. Waking up to the sunrise right before your eyes is an unforgettable experience. The villa is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, with a beautiful open kitchen and cozy sitting area featuring large, inviting sofas. With bedrooms both upstairs and downstairs, it’s ideal for those who might prefer to avoid stairs. Beyond the breathtaking view and the lovely pool, there’s so much more to explore outdoors: a jacuzzi, an outdoor shower, a charming garden with some fruit and olive trees, a ping-pong table, a BBQ, and more. We don’t want to give away all the surprises, this is a place you just have to experience for yourself! Thank you, Gabrielle, for everything. We can’t wait to return!

Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – sehr sauber, gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist traumhaft, mit einem fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Der Kontakt mit Amadea war überaus freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und möchten uns ganz herzlich bedanken. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
