Beautiful Flat Near the Center 11 min by tube

The location is absolutely excellent, directly opposite Brixton Victoria Line station and three bus stops. The property was clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed.

Unfortunately, our stay coincided with a heatwave, and the lack of air conditioning was a major inconvenience. The landlord kindly provided new fans, which we appreciated, but during such hot weather they were simply not a substitute for air conditioning. Another unpleasant issue was the entrance area, which had a strong smell of urine. There are three large rubbish bins nearby, and unfortunately some passersby appear to urinate behind them, making the entrance quite unpleasant. The most frustrating part of our stay was the key collection process. We had to walk more than 600 metres to a wine bar to collect the key, which was extremely inconvenient when travelling as a family with children and large luggage. Even more frustratingly, we had to make the same journey again to return the key at the end of our stay. Overall, the property has great potential and could be an excellent place to stay with a few improvements: 1. Install air conditioning, even if only in the living room. 2. Provide a secure combination lockbox near the entrance for collecting and returning the key, as is common with many holiday rentals. 3. Add clothes hangers and a shelf in the bathroom. With these improvements, especially air conditioning and a more convenient key collection system, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

The location was superb. Directly opposite Brixton train station. Privacy was just as I wanted. Will definitely come back.

Collecting the keys from a place 8mins walk and then walking back to the flat. Then after checkout, walking back to drop the keys was another issue. Imagine someone with luggage and completely new to the city. Management should think about this. It could be delivered to the client upon his/her arrival.

L’emplacement au pied du métro

Il faisait beaucoup trop chaud, très compliqué de régler la température. Le 2e jour, la chaudière s’est arrêté, nous n’avions plus d’eau chaude… nous avons réussi à réactiver seul mais ce n’est pas ce qu’on a attend d’une location. La machine à laver ne fonctionnait pas non plus, ça fait beaucoup. L’appartement est globalement ok sinon mais vraiment vieillot et assez mal fini (lino qui se décolle, lumières sans abat jour etc). Aucun fond de maison non plus… En guise de geste, le propriétaire n’a même pas voulu décaler le Check out d’une heure… Attention aussi à la localisations des clés qui n’est pas pratique (20mn A/R du métro dc de l’appartement)
