Great host, good value for money but unsafe area!
The host was super nice! He made us check in at 7 am in the morning instead of 3 pm, which for us was a blessing cause we had a lot of luggage’s. He was prompt to reply to all our requests and he booked us a taxi. Great value for the money, the room is comfy and the bathroom’s shower works very well.
It’s not safe for a woman alone to walk in the area. I stupidly thought that everywhere in the Emirates was safe but I had a 10 minutes walk around sunset and I received 3 unpleasant encounters. I had to go back home and decide to leave the house just with taxi. The mosque is just next to the house. Very loud during the 5 daily prayers!
