The main highlight of this property is its location. The neighborhood is really great, between Copacabana and Ipanema. There is a small supermarket right downstairs for groceries, as well as a laundromat. The welcome was cordial; however, the check-out was a bit more complicated, with very little flexibility in allowing us to leave our luggage, (just one hour more) even though the apartment was not rented again afterwards. The apartment was generally clean. Regarding safety, we had no issues at all. The building has 24-hour security with staff on duty around the clock.

The attractive photos shown actually correspond to a much larger and more expensive apartment. We ended up renting the small one-bedroom apartment (listed under two different names) with a terrace. The code access system did not work. There is no sink in either the kitchen or the bathroom — only a tiny sink in the living room, which is quite unusual. You can do the dishes outside on the terrace, which is also rather strange. A mirror would also have been appreciated. The bedroom was quiet and properly dark, but it had a noticeable odor. It was reasonably comfortable for two people, but overall quite expensive for what it is.
