The environment is good. A little away from the crowd. A homely ambience. Food is really good.

I absolutely loved our stay here. The rooms were a bit small and cramped, but the property, the food and the experience was lovely. Special shout out to their cook Kanta and service person Gaurab.
Ok so what I did not like were the size of the rooms and the food amount charged for the same item on 2 different days. I had asked the guest house staff to get rosogolla for my party of 9 staying there, they applied for an overcharged rate for them and I could understand that clearly. Little bit of customer service and integrity would be nice.

Staff are great . It being a guest house kind of place , they go to market , bring fresh food, they cook very well, and well mannered. Rooms are big and well lit. maintenance is good. If you are looking for a peaceful stay without any activity after 6 pm, probably its good.
Problem is , its not on the main road , you have to come inside from the main road and the road is dark. There is no transport available outside , its not a main place in Shantiniketan, so you are stuck at the hotel after 6 pm. Its also not a hotel, I shall call it a homestay, they have converted a Villa to this. Cost is much higher than it deserves.
