Over the Sea

This harbor is a little out of the way for tourists; but access to the rest of Barcelona is easy with all the train, tram and bus options. The boat was fairly comfortable, and it was nice having the place to ourselves. There is a market (convenience store) on the other side of the harbor if you need any incidentals, and there are three good South Asian restaurants there too. The boat is connected to power and a fresh water supply on the dock, though you may have to turn on the hose valve daily to replenish water supply. The marina has WiFi, though it's not a strong connection.

There is a nightclub nearby that plays loud music until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, so be prepared for that. Don't bother with Forum Beach; there's nothing there but one sad bar. We had problems with our eSIM cards, which made communication difficult, but that was not the owner's fault and my daughter was able to communicate through Watsapp as long as we had a WiFi connection. Also, communicate beforehand as to where you will meet to get your access card to get onto Pier C; the location that Booking.com sent to us was the owner's house, far from the harbor. Make sure that the owner has left a bug zapper (mosquitoes!) on board and that the air conditioner is working. (We stayed there twice during our trip, and during our second stay these were available.) Finally, the toilet has to be flushed by hand pump, which gets tiresome, but we should have expected that.

Una barca invece di una stanza di albergo? Un'idea fantastica! Innanzitutto la qualità dell'host: Francisco è una persona davvero piacevole, la sua accoglienza cordiale, accomodante, mai invadente. La barca è molto carina e ben tenuta, ormeggiata nel porticciolo di Port Forum. Ci sono due letti singoli a poppa ed una dinette matrimoniale a prua, noi eravamo in 2 ma in 4 si sta perfettamente. Il bagno (chi è già stato su di una barca sa cosa aspettarsi) è perfettamente funzionante e presenta un lavandino con doccetta su pavimento di legno drenante. C'è un tavolo con due panche/divani sotto coperta assieme al lavandino, frigorifero e forno a microonde. Il ponte permette di rilassarsi e prendere il sole. In questi giorni faceva davvero molto molto caldo a Barcelona, nelle ore pomeridiane stare sotto coperta diventa ovviamente complicato ma comunque ci sono molti ventilatori sparsi per alleviare la calura. L'accesso ad ogni molo è protetto da una porta scorrevole apribile sono con tessera di accesso. Solo i proprietari delle barche hanno questa tessera, quindi lasciare le proprie cose sull'imbarcazione rimane sicuro. Siamo stati benissimo e, tornando a Barcelona, volentieri pernotteremo ancora sulla 'Siling Cinco'.

Aggiungerei un fornellino elettrico o ad induzione, ma tutt'attorno (nel porto) è pieno di locali e ristoranti.

цікавий експірієнс, я до цього тільки плавав на яхті. Саме розуміння, що ти ночуєш в Барселоні на яхті збуджує тебе та робить щасливим!

на жаль яхта не зачиняється з середини надійно, тож виникали думки що хтось може залізти! Ну і туалет та душ на яхті це не зовсім зручно))

C’est très confortable

Tout était comme précisé dans l’annonce
