Welcome to the Cedar House hosted by Wander North Rentals!
Cedar House is a cozy cottage tucked into the woods perfect for a family retreat. The home is located just a few miles from Cedar and Maple City, 15 minutes from Traverse City, 20 minutes from Glen Arbor, and 30 minutes from the Interlochen Arts Academy. You couldn't ask for a more central location to explore all the Leelanau Peninsula has to offer!
As soon as you drive up to this home you will be surrounded by Northern Michigan charm. The home sits on a wooded lot with ample outdoor space including an outdoor eating area, seating, and a fire pit.
Inside the home, you will find 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a beautiful open main floor plan. The kitchen is fully renovated and stocked with everything you need to cook a meal for your group including pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. Off the kitchen is a dining area with seating for 6 and then you will step down into the living area. There are multiple seating options in the living room to spend time with our entire group.
There are 2 bedrooms available on the main floor. Each room is updated with new beds and options for clothing storage. The main floor also has a bathroom with a glass door shower and a laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer.
Upstairs is a loft space with 2 twin beds set up as a teen hangout area including bean bags and a desk. This home is ideal for a family traveling together who wants to spend time together but with space to spread out both in and outdoors.
All linens and towels are included in your stay. We also cater to minimalist travelers so include items like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, laundry detergent, and more. Please reach out if you have any questions and we can't wait to host you!

Everything about the house was great, the host had a ton of things in the house the family enjoyed and was very clean. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Good location for what we needed and in a beautiful, wooded area. Comfortable beds. Coffee pot needed a good cleaning, so we did not use it.

Amazing property, perfectly clean and very nicely designed, our trip was a great little disconnect from normal busy life. The house is secluded and private and the owners went the extra mile to provide everything we needed. Would definitely come back

We really loved this place, nice and clean and had everything we needed. We loved Pegtown Station nearby for breakfast, and Cedar Tavern for a late dinner.
Would stay again!
