Welcome to The Snoozy Bear's Den, your home away from home while you are in the Great Smoky Mountains! If you would like a newer, beautifully appointed, convenient retreat in which to relax between your vacation excursions, we got you! This home sleeps 8 (6 adults) and boasts TWO king beds and one queen. There is a sleeper sofa (suitable for kids) as well. Comfortable convenience is key here, and this home is less than 5 miles from the Parkway, which is loaded with amusement and restaurants.
Make your plans now to stay at this newer, well maintained, luxury cabin which has the best of both worlds. You'll be less than 5 miles to multiple locations on the parkway, yet far enough into the countryside so that you can enjoy what it feels like to stay in a comfortable cabin, making this the perfect retreat for families with littles and adults alike.
Stepping into the home with a one step entrance, you will not be dragging your luggage (or kids) up or down steep stairs just to get in the front door! The primary room has soaring ceilings adorned in wood planking, just like a cabin should have. The kitchen is furnished well so you have all the tools you will need to prepare anything from toast to a complete meal. The master suite is very privately located upstairs, while the other 2 bedrooms are on the main floor. Having a true 3 bedroom home (rather than beds in an open loft), each guest can enjoy some privacy. You will have Wi-Fi if you need to work a little, smart TVs with Roku if you don't! There is also an arcade gaming system and some board games for some good ole family fun. If shopping is your bag (see what we did there?), Five Oaks Mall is less than 5 miles away! When it's time to wind down for the day, step into the hot tub on the deck to relax, or rock away on a new rocking chair on the covered deck and admire the nature and all the beauty that you came to see in the Smokies! Don't like scary one lane roads? While admittedly these mountain roads here all have twists and curves, this cabin is located on great county maintained roads that are double wide, so the access and location are very desirable. A few other items worth mentioning: the driveway is paved, there is a stackable washer and dryer, included is a Kinetico water filtration system for the entire cabin, and a pack and play and folding booster chair for the littles. Primary guests must be at least 25 years old, and there is a strict no smoking or pets policy. Also, please do not plan your party or gathering here as that is not permitted. There is an active recording camera outside for security reasons. Check in is at 4pm and check out is 10am. We are looking forward to hosting you at the Snoozy Bear's Den!
