4 night stay Thanksgiving 2025.Location was perfectly secluded, quiet, and spectacular mountain views. Space was great for our family to spread out and beds were very comfortable. Anthony was a responsive host when contacted and handled a non-functioning hot water heater promptly.We were disappointed, however, that the listing photos did not match the current state of the property. The home is in need of some maintenance and repairs; pool was not heated and needed to be cleaned, firepit was in a landscape bed with the doors off and seemed unusable, weeds throughout the patio area, broken planter pots, landscape lighting did not function at the front of the house (some visibly broken). Strong sewer smell in the primary bedroom/laundry room/living room area that seemed to be "activated" when the water tap was used and lingered for hours. Master bedroom light and fan controls also simultaneously control the living room light/fan. Missing much of the cozy touches shown in photos. The listing photos attracted us to this rental and the heated pool amenity really put it over the top, but we were left disappointed and feel we overpaid as a result. I think this property has the potential to be great and live up the some of the great reviews I read prior to booking. I hope the hosts will spend some time to restore this property to the level depicted in the photos for future guests.
