We were there for GT convocation, so most of our days there were spent on and around campus. However, there is a Walmart and lots of gas stations, as well as lots of fast food and local eateries around.The host, Gertie, was one of the best hosts we have had. She was genuinely concerned about our comfort and was very prompt in responding to our texts and even calls. The surrounding streets may not display the best of upkeep, but they are quiet and allow for restful nights. The inside of the home is a delight. It has the look of a vintage property that has been refurbished and upgraded with new gadgets, appliances and amenities. The washer, dryer, microwave, and dishwasher are very close to brandnew and in perfect operating condition. The place is neat and very well furnished. In short, we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay and were made to feel welcome for the entire duration..... not something that you would experience often. We would love to be back here on our next visit to Atlanta!
