This family estate on the south shore of Green Lake in Ripon consists of two separate homes, a Victorian Queen Anne and a storybook cottage. This picturesque property offers 115 feet of lake shore with a gentle slope for easy access to swimming, sailing, boating, water skiing, and fishing. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from two private piers and savor the tranquility of lakefront living. There's also an oversized brick patio and a wrapped porch for more outdoor lounge and alfresco dining space.
The Antique Lake House features three bedroom suites, each boasting a private bath and elegant four corner poster beds, TVs, and ceiling fans. The upstairs bedrooms offer balconies with stunning lake views, and a small luxurious jetted tub. The downstairs bedroom is a split-level retreat with mahogany wood cathedral ceilings, and a seating area adorned with beautiful Belgian tapestries.
Relax in the living room overlooking the water, or dine in style in the formal dining room with lake vistas. A second living area features a piano for musical evenings. The full kitchen includes a gas stove, microwave, and coffee maker (no dishwasher). The amenities include a washer/dryer, central air-conditioning, and a gas grill.
At The Cottage, rustic country charm meets modern comfort at this vacation rental with a cozy upstairs parlor, a spacious studio kitchen (no dishwasher), a living and dining area with cathedral ceilings, and a charming Dutch door. (The fireplace is not operational.) The large, vintage bathroom boasts a ball and claw tub, a French shower, and an antique marble sink.
With amenities like WiFi and smart TVs you can use with your streaming accounts, these homes have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Linens and towels are provided for your peace of mind.

The lake was a beautiful retreat, our family spent most of our time on the porch outside and dining alfresco on the terrace. We caught a few beautiful sunsets and swam in the lake. This is an older house (1850s) so expect some quirks and semi-dated decor. Nonetheless, we made the most of it celebrating our grandfather's 94th birthday. I will mention, the home is not completely level, lots of steps and uneven floors as you go room to room and big steps (without handles) down into the screened porch so keep this in mind if you have anyone with a disability, they may have a hard time navigating.

This is an old property as described, but its not a very well maintained old property. Musty mildew smell in both buildings, dirty carpet, cobb webs everywhere, chipping/peeling paint, and I only noticed 1 smoke detector. The fridge and stove are small apartment size, which was not in the description.
