About this house rental
Take it easy at this unique & tranquil getaway. Located in the mountains of La Fortuna just 10 minutes from town, with a view of the Arenal Volcano you won’t want to leave. Stay amongst the birds in our outdoor living room surrounded by plantain & banana trees or pick the most delicious limes from our farm. A creek runs at the bottom of the property and without neighbors to the left or right, all you’ll hear are the tropical birds like Macaws, Toucans, Tanagers & an array of animals around you.

Also, Toucan House is a haven for birdwatching enthusiasts. The surrounding area is home to a diverse array of bird species, and the property itself is thoughtfully landscaped to attract local wildlife. You can spend your mornings sipping coffee on the outdoor terrace, binoculars in hand, as vibrant toucans and hummingbirds flutter by.

Great stay at this wonderful accommodation property in La Fortuna. Days when it was raining or when clouds were over the Arenal Volcano, it was great to just sit on the back terrace and just observe all of the wildlife that come by. There is also a restaurant nearby (cost on the higher end, but worth it) for when you don't feel like driving into town. All three bedrooms were comfortable enough and did the trick for a few nights' stay!

Great location-saw lots of wildlife from our balcony-Tuscans, iguanas, agoutis and plenty of birds. Quiet 10 mins from town. 4 wheel drive highly recommended.

Where to begin!!!! How about birds and monkeys entertaining you while enjoying your delicious morning coffee!!! The house is beautifully finished and has everything and more for a very comfortable stay. As an added bonus it’s walking distance to a fabulous restaurant and lookout over La Fortuna. Can’t wait to come back to Casa Toucan!!! Anne was a wealth of information and suggestions which all proved invaluable!!
