About this campground/ rv resort rental
This old caravan was completely renovated in 2022 with environmentally friendly materials. It is a tiny house set in the middle of the meadows on the edge of the forest. It has all the necessary comfort (water, electricity) for a cozy stay. It is ideal for those who want to rest, observe nature, disconnect from the hectic life, meditate, recharge their batteries...
It is located at Clos Goutilles small farm in the Pyrenean Piedmont.
In a bucolic setting, the small farm is located in the heart of the Ariège Regional Natural Park and at the foot of the Pyrenees, the 3ha property is located in a hilly environment composed of meadows and woods. In a quiet, isolated and natural place, the Clos Goutilles is 12 minutes from St Girons.
In the south-east facing pre-carlo, you will find:
- the caravan consisting of a large comfortable bed of 160 x 210 cm, a sideboard, a table and two chairs, a shower and a kitchenette with a sink, a small refrigerator, a 2-burner gas hob, a percolator, a toaster, everything you need to cook and eat (crockery, cutlery, bowls, etc.).
- a pretty panoramic grassy terrace with garden furniture, a summer kitchen (BBQ, sink and worktop), two deck chairs, two hammocks.
- a dry toilet (bucket to be emptied), a sink and an outdoor shower (cold water).
- A wire and clips will allow you to hang your laundry.
Good to know!
- Smokers are welcome as long as they smoke outside the caravan.
- It is possible to enjoy this pre-carlo for up to 4 people, thanks to an old Canadian planted below in the orchard (15€/night/additional person over 2 people). Make the request in advance. Thank you 😊!
- 15 Ouessant sheep, 2 cats (Minette and Matou), 9 hens and 1 rooster will be part of your daily life. Your animals are therefore not accepted here.
- The Saint Girons market every Saturday morning: unique, not to be missed!
- Wifi access at the entrance of the farm.
- Equestrian center in the hamlet 5 minutes walk.
- Many "nature" amusement parks nearby (snail farm, insect clearing, Mas d'Azil cave, reptile farm, angora goat breeding...)
- The price includes sheets, hand towels and dish towels, soap. I do not provide towels.
- Arrival at the premises from 4 pm and departure before 11 am.
- On site, you can enjoy farm products: eggs, jams, syrups, vegetable caviar, fresh fruit and vegetables depending on the season...
