Fireside Mountain Escape

The property was very big, the AC saved us this weekend also. The ping pong table was fun and the kitchen was amazing.

Only thing that was a bummer was how the WiFi was weak. It was more for the kids but they couldn’t watch their shows at all.

Beautiful house with 4 bedrooms and plenty of room for our 6 adults. Dog friendly. Beds were comfortable. The best part for us is the spacious balcony with a sitting area, a big outdoor dining table enough for 10 persons, the balcony has great Big Bear Mountain View. The surrounding ponderosa pines provide shade in the afternoon, we loved sitting there enjoying our coffee break after a hike from the Big Bear Lake . Only 10 minutes drive to Vons and Stater Brothers supermarkets, so it was easy for us to get what we like and cook our own breakfast and dinner. There are many dog friendly restaurants in the village. The restaurants we tried were all good! Everyone talked about the house after our trip and we will definitely go back for another autumn trip.

The wifi signal was weak and slow , unable to watch videos on my iPad . The roller shades in all rooms are light filtering only, not blackout, need to wear an eye mask for sleeping. Otherwise it was very bright in early morning.
