A great place to stay

The house had ample parking, all that we needed for our stay. It was clean and comfortable.

The outside toilet was a little bleak , but helpful to have when there was four of us staying.

Very dissapointing. Check the real reviews before booking!

Such a disappointment. Where do i start? Everything was very dirty: stinking bed sheets, pillow cases and duvet cover, broken floors, broken door handle, disgusting towels ( we immediately went and bought our own), dirty oven, kitchen, couch, all was so so disappointing. Never have i ever paid this much for a night and has been such a bad experience, and unfortunately booked 3 days. Garden is so so forgotten and not taken care of. All was in such a state. When i’ve got there i’ve quickly looked over the reviews checking if any other people gone through this. You know what i’ve found? Rigged reviews! Every time someone was honest about a review, he’ll get few more 10s reviews and get the rating up. This is ridiculous and something must be done with this property: 1- deep clean the house. This is in such a disgusting state! 2- repair the house. A lot is damaged. Too much! 3- The beds were horrible. Buy new mattresses!buy mattress protector. The real ones. 4- no toiletries, but a stated soap left. Really? Bathroom is looks like all has been bought from poundland. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. There was greed spelled all over the house! Spend some money. Such a bad experience! Please check before booking! *i have loads more photos. Unfortunately i can only post 4.

Lovely place to stay

Really well equipped and furnished,plenty space and storage for everything needed, huge garden and friendly huge dog next door. Plenty parking, light and bright rooms.

A few cosmetic scratches but nothing massive other than a dip in the floorboards on upper landing that we tripped over.

Suburban Derby

The property was clean and tidy and the location was good. Access was straightforward and the communication from the owners was prompt, polite and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

No major issues. Despite being listed the only toiletries provided was a bottle of hand soap in the kitchen. No tea towels or oven gloves available.

amazing!

beautiful house with spacious rooms and facilities available. was everything we could have asked for, large garden and in a great location, close to a shop for food and not too far from Derby town. home owners were lovely and had great communication throughout our stay. 10/10 stay will definitely book here again!!

Overall I was happy with my stay and would consider staying again if I'm visiting the local area

The instructions to enter and how to use the facilities was all clear. Location and rooms were very nice.

There were a few spiders around the house (like 4 total), so not ideal for me. Also on the drive there are quite a few stones and small debris, I think it would be good to brush these up to minimise the risk of damaging any car tyres.
