ilika Resort - A Boutique Stay

Room as well as view , also food and staff behaviour

Nothing

Overall, our experience staying at this place was very good and comfortable. A few highlights truly set this place apart from others: Unique Aesthetics: The rooms featuring mud walls and ceilings offer a distinct charm that sets this stay apart. Additionally, the owners run a cute little coffee shop on-site that adds immensely to the overall aesthetic and vibe. Hospitable Staff: The staff is extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming, which made our stay truly enjoyable. Stunning Views (Sunrise & Sunset): Right behind the resort, there is a short 2-minute trek that leads to a spot with beautiful views of both the sunrise and sunset. Points to Note: Location & Stairs: Reaching the homestay requires climbing around 40 steps. While this gives you a wonderful elevated view of the place, it can be challenging if you are traveling with elderly companions who struggle with stairs.

The only discomfort we experienced throughout our entire stay was the washroom. It was small and had a noticeable odor. Even though a freshener was provided, it didn't really help with the smell. If this is addressed, this stay would be absolutely perfect.

Nice and beautiful place in the mountain. The room was big and comfortabl. Staffs are nice.

It might be a bit hard for elders to climb up the stairs to the entrance.

Breakfast was good. Location was ideal for having total relaxation and rejuvenation. Away from hustle bustle of a city is the main attraction for us. Staff was really caring, good and very co-operative. We happen to meet owners Ms Nisha & Mr. Vijay, both Nice people.

Not ideal for elderly person as one has to climb 104 stairs to reach Resort. I think elderly people will find it difficult to climb so much of stairs.
