Portopiccolo Apartments

Es ist ein ganz besonderer Ort; sobald man die Zufahrtsstraße verlässt, taucht man ein in absolute Ruhe, umgeben von angenehmen und ruhigen Menschen, einer spannenden Architektur, einem kleinen, aber feinen Hafen und einem wunderbaren Blick aufs Meer. Das Einchecken war gut vorbereitet und problemlos, die Betreuung beispielhaft (danke dafür!!) und wir hatten einen eigenen Tiefgaragenstellplatz mit kurzem Weg zu unserer Wohnung. Das Apartment mit Balkon und natürlich Meerblick hat unseren Erwartungen voll entsprochen, alles war sauber und gut vorbereitet. Im Örtchen selbst bieten sich sehr gute Restaurants an, ein "Kult-Cafe" lädt zum Frühstücken ein und abends kann man direkt am Wasser den Sonnenuntergang bei einem guten Glas Wein genießen. Insgesamt ein Traum!

Nur eine Kleinigkeit: Der "Umschalthebel" von Handbrause zu Duschkopf macht ein bisschen Probleme und der Wasserdruck könnte auch etwas höher sein.

Alles ist sehr freundlich und hell eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Blick aufs Meer und den Yachthafen ist wirklich sehr schön. Die Damen im Büro waren allesamt sehr nett und hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Sistiana ist ein wirklich bezauberndes Städtchen mit nicht vielen, aber dafür sehr guten Restaurants und einem tollen Strand

Leider war die Brüstung auf dem Balkon sehr hoch, so dass man nur beim Stehen das Meer sehen konnte. Die Küche ist leider sehr einfach ausgestattet, mir haben vor allem Schüsseln oder auch ein Sieb gefehlt. Wir hatten einiges von zu Hause mitgebracht dadurch haben wir uns selbst geholfen.

“Hospitality” has “room for improvement”!! The check-in time was limited and the announced heavy penalty for coming late unpleasant Additional 500 euro deposit for future damages was unsympathetic and an inventory list to check completeness in apartment was not present. A microwave in the kitchen would be nice. A cutting board and small paring knives were also missing (a cutting board was provided at reception). The frying pan was warped and not suitable for induction (received a different one at reception). The set of pans seemed incomplete. An intermediate size was missing and not all lids were present either. The light in the living room is very bright. It is not possible to dim it. Apparently, the heating is turned off starting in May. The nights were 6 degrees Celsius. That is cold. Perhaps it could be better adjusted to the current temperature? No swimming pools early may. (Reception provided a space heater.) Extra blankets are useful during that time. We were able to use them from the second bedroom because we only needed 1 bedroom. That made it bearable at night. Coat hooks are missing from the wall. There is no place to hang clothes in the bathrooms, and no hooks could be found in the bedrooms either. The air conditioning was still set to automatic cooling at a strange time (03:30) at night. (And it was already cold). It would be better to reset the air conditioning settings when new tenants arrive. The air conditioning manual lists few functions and does not mention that the heat stops in May. The QR code in the living room (“scan for more info”) leads to a website that is inaccessible. The tap for the shower in the bathroom on the balcony side was loose. (Quickly repaired after reporting) The shower in that bathroom is open, but the water drains away behind the toilet. Perhaps a curtain would be a good idea? The dining room chairs make a lot of noise when moved. It looks like they used to have felt pads on them.
