Excellent location and will be brilliant when all rooms have been renovated

Lovely staff, great location and very clean. This was a very last minute booking and they were very accommodating with our group of 5 and allowed early check in. Rooms were very dated as they are slowing renovating them but it was adequate for our stay. Will be exceptional once all rooms are completed. Very peaceful setting and close to airport and the CBD.

It was okay, definitely in a convenient central location, but the shower was very disappointing.

Really convenient location, and good amount of parking. The overall room it's self was fine.

The shower was really bad. It was tiny, difficult to balance the water temperature, and didn't have much pressure. The shower really negatively effected the whole experience for me. The rest of the room was fine. I could have accepted the terrible shower for a much lower price, but the overall price wasn't that cheap.

Lovely location

We loved the location, the room was ok good value for money. The pool was great and the staff were amazing.

We had a nice stay however was disappointed to see that there was a blanket on the bed downstairs was badly stained.

Perfect spot, Central to our needs, everyone was happy.

I liked that I was greeted by a lovely person who gave me the key and it was after hours. She was friendly and welcoming. The place was a great spot for us which slept the 6 of us. We were able to cook dinner, the pot size was great. The dining table was lovely and nig and solid. Thank you so much.

No breakfast available sadly. Liked the convenient location. The manager who welcomed us was thoughtful and helpful.

Very outdated facilities - even the ones that had been renovated. Claustrophobic shower box - limited toiletries - low power hair drier. Biscuit or two would have been nice with the teas and coffees - definitely budget conditions. Couldn't get TV - don't know if it was available - no instruction booklets.

Great facility for easy accommodation and large groups.

Beds were so comfy and nice bedding. Great cooking tools and equipment.

It would be good to have known one of the bedrooms did not have a door, so it was more a loft, which made it a bit difficult to have privacy. Only one bedroom had a door. Spa was not working which was disappointing.. Pool was not well maintained black on bottom so kids left footprints but still tried to swim.

This a great location in a suburb on bus routes and near to Mt eden cafes. It has a wonderful cheerful feel and is vintage n the right ways. Tight spaces , practical and easy, like a Motel, as it is named.

It was comfortable and clean. We stayed one night here to go to the ABs at Eden Park

Only thing was walking to the toilet downstairs as most of the beds are upstairs but good value for money and a family of 6. The pillows on the queen bed were too thick but the bed was very comfortable.

Great value for money in a lovely, comfortable room

The renovated room and bathroom were lovely — I really liked the colour theme and funky décor, and the contrast of colours worked beautifully. The beds were comfortable, everything was nice and clean, and overall it felt fresh and welcoming.

The only downside was that the soundproofing wasn’t the best; we could hear our neighbours and I imagine they could hear us as well. That said, check-in and check-out were smooth, and it was a great stay in a lovely room.

Perfect overnight stay for our family.

On arrival, we were met by a beautiful staff member who was very welcoming and informative as we had 5 kids with us. She was happy to give us a full rundown of pool/spa times/closest fish & chip details/extended checkout as we had traveled and had a sports comp later the next day. The family room was perfect and had everything we needed, right down to everything to cook. The showers are not the greatest but eventually the hot water kicked in. The beds were an A+ for comfort! They felt like clouds!! All in all, we would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others. -1 thing that could be beneficial to the family room is more towels as we had to try & dry our swimming ones for showers later that night.

Freezing room with no heating and very old cold shower.

Good location, beds were comfortable enough.

No decent heating in the room, it was freezing even with leaving the heaters going all night. A real lack of plugs, had to unplug the extension cord to heater to use the kettle. No electric blankets. Lack of cutlery which was not in the kitchen. Kitchen tap splattered out violently so impossible to fill a cup with water. Shower was unacceptable - no mixer so had to try and get warm water from 2 taps, very flakey paint and only one shower every 20 minutes is ridiculous for a unit that sleeps 4 plus a couch bed. Very tired and in need of updating.
