The Poolhouse

+ The hosts were the most friendly and helpful "staff" I've met. They showed us the house and told us everything we needed to know and recommended a few restaurants and sightseeing. + There is only nature and a few times a day you get visited by sheep and cows. + The pool is a natural pool instead of a chlorine pool. + The small town is only 5 min situated by car. + There is a netflix account for guests.

- the biggest downfall was that the small house is situated on the owner's garden. I didn't know that, so I thought I could be alone with my boyfriend (staying up late, swimming nak3d, being loud without stressing) but this wasn't possible as the owner has a complete view of the pool and the house (and uses the pool as well). I'm sure they didn't pry but I felt I was trespassing. Like if you would stay in your mother in law garage... If I had known this I wouldn't have booked it. - the arrangement of the house is poorly thought-out. The bed is in a wooden box, although there is a room (this one it's used for storage only). There's only 1 sink (for kitchen and bathroom). The glass walls are aesthetic but there is no ventilation. Each night I was visited by several mosquitos. - the house doesn't provide good ventilation so in the summer it is more than 30°C (also at night) felt suffocating. - 4 nights were too long as there wasn't any sightseeing besides the small town (totally normal small town) - the restaurants were expensive and there were not enough restaurants. - we paid around 600€ for 4 nights to be in someone's garden... So the price-quality was not ok!
