Everything is done so well and with so much care here that you won’t even notice how basic this guesthouse is. Nothing is too much trouble for the family that runs it. The food we had (including a dinner menu that we discussed and planned in advance with the owner) was excellent. Consider staying here whilst you still can, because I wouldn’t be in the least surprised if a few years from now Raju and his family end up running a chain of places like this, as their diligence, ability and charm are on a different level altogether.

Hospitality is exquisite. Quite welcoming staff, always spot on in catering to our needs. Food is absolutely good. Not to mention the picturesque, serene and rustic atmosphere with splashes of Tungbhadra soothing ears. Hardly 100 m walk to a part of Tungabhadra Good value for money in those regards.

Despite all the good things, I have to rate poor due to the pathetic considerations for hygiene. On the day of arrival we were late and really tired. The quilts provided were used probably by their staff and stinking intolerably. We were too tired to ask for a change and had to bear with it the whole day. Furthermore, the lavatory was stained. The dining area is the next biggest dread. Cats and dogs roam freely and on one occasion, a cat pooped on the dining table beside us. The menu card, if you touch, be sure to wash your hands again, because they use it to whack off animals.
