Loved the amenities, the rooms, the restaurant the cleaning staff and waiting staff at Ayadina restaurant. The front desk staff lacked grace you find elsewhere in Egypt's fine hotels. We travel a lot, I was surprised by how they treat their guests as if they are going to commit a foul or infraction. We did not have small children running around or played loud music. we were a mere family of 4 trying to enjoy Marassi. But the way they exuded anxiety over access cards, beach towels and other perks made us feel micro managed as if we are at a summer camp or boarding school. At the end they would not let us check out and leave hotel before going up to inspect all the rooms. Who still does that? They have our credit card on file. Instruction from the top needs to be altered to jive with how fine this establishment is. Its not a road side motel and staff should act accordingly. Marassi is beautiful but it too is oppressive, check points everywhere trying to get from one side to the other is an ordeal, you have to constantly show your reservation and questions.. That too is over managed and does not give the guest a nice fluid experience. Based on that we may try something else next year where we are not made to feel that we are committing infractions simply by walking around.

We had an incredible stay at Marassi Marina 2. The staff was amazing, and the service quality was outstanding. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a calm and relaxed stay.

Specially if you are family and their is child
If you book as 3 adult room it will convert to 2 adult room after booking and payment so take care this was our check in problem then they keep us waiting for checkout around an hour for checking the room which i never experienced before ..there was a patch on the bedsheet (which is cleanable) they considered as damage and want to charge us although it is clean and quit place but
