Blossom Plantation

It was nice and relaxing, great to recharge your batteries and reconnect with nature

It would have been good to have a gate and it fenced off a little so that the dogs could roam free but not too far from the property - this wasn’t a major concern though.

Such a cosy and stylish cabin! The modern aesthetic makes it feel like a luxury retreat, and the space itself is warm, inviting, and super comfortable. We loved relaxing in the hot tub at night. It was easily one of the best parts of the trip. It’s also super convenient and only a 10minute drive from Alnwick Garden. Highly recommend!

The kitchen setup is decent with a hob, a great air fryer, and basic cutlery and crockery though adding a microwave and supplying milk, tea and sugar would make it even better. Still a wonderfully convenient retreat overall!

Beautiful view, great shower, lovely hot tub. Also really enjoyed walking over to the hotel bar past the horses for a cocktail. Great for dogs.

Mattress on bed was horrible; there was a wasp nest in the roof and the wasps kept breaking in throigh the ceiling gaps. To be fair, they tried to sort it out when we were there but it was difficult to do and we didn't want fumigation whilst we were living there! But they should have checked and sorted it out before we arrived. The hot tub pump was also v noisy so we would turn it off each night and turn it on in the morning.

The location was remote and peaceful. The air fryer in the lodge was great. The shower worked

The trees overhang onto the pod and bash against it. I ended up climbing the tree in the middle of the night to fix this too get some sleep. The lake view from my pod was minimal due to trees blocking it, we got the short straw compared to everyone else. Lack of essentials like toilet roll and bin bags, we didn't complain about this as we had some in the van.
