About this house rental
Overlooking the serene and beautiful Currituck Sound, Indigo Sunset on the Sound will live up to its name. It is a dog-friendly home (2 max.) and located in the Magnolia Bay section of The Currituck Club resort, the closest neighborhood to the beach access within the Club! A new hot tub was added to the back deck.
Beds: 2 King Masters, 1 Queen, 2 Doubles, 1 Trundle; 11 Towel Sets provided
ENTRY LEVEL:
The floorplan is convenient for indoor/outdoor living with sliders that open onto the sun deck with deck furniture and a new hot tub. An open living room has furniture arranged to enjoy the view or a flat-screen TV. All TVs in the home have streaming options available for guests to use their own subscription services (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). The dining area (seats 8) has sound views and is next to the modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The kitchen bar has seating for 2 and a separate breakfast table (seats 4) is by the entryway. There is a half bath next to the kitchen. A King Master Suite has a master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower. Enjoy the porch swing on the front porch as another area for relaxation. The garage is available for parking and the driveway can accommodate 2-3 vehicles. [Note: gas fireplaces are not available for guest use.]

There are 3 bedrooms on this level: a King Master Suite has sound views; its master bath has a shower and a separate soaking tub. There is a Trundle (Twin) available for a child to use in this bedroom also. The other bedrooms include a Queen bedroom and a bedroom with 2 Double beds which share the hall bathroom (shower/tub combo).
EXTRAS:
In season, the Magnolia Bay section has a full-size community pool and a kiddie pool for the little ones plus tennis courts with pickleball lines. As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier-gated community and resort, your family can use its various amenities including free trolley service to the beach access and beach valet service (summer months only), a Clubhouse with on-site dining, a large community pool with kiddie pool at the main entrance, a Fitness Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. There are planned kids' activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bike riding. Golfers in the family can make reservations to play the 18-hole course that is landscaped throughout the resort with sound and ocean views.

Beautiful - just as the photos advertise. So many amenities included! Binoculars for looking at the sound; a beautiful grill; bicycle; beach chairs. Only negative was the mattress in the second floor master bedroom was very uncomfortable.

This was a great property in an amazing community. Everyone was extremely friendly and there is so much to do! The only complaint was the house could have been cleaner. But on the plus side there was tons of extras available. Anything you could ask for in the kitchen and games was there. It was a great house!

The house is located on a perfect soundfront location with live oaks accenting the views. The views are great and the house is so comfortable we felt like we lived there. Well appointed kitchen leant nothing to our meal preps. To cap it off the weather was perfect for the time of fall. Can’t wait to go again!

For us, location was fine but prefer further north to not have to drive everywhere. The cleanliness is lacking. The tub had dog footprints in it. Every piece of cookware felt greasy and had to be washed before use. Went to use from the fridge ice maker and shards of stainless steel came out. Fridge eroding in several areas. Kitchen well outfitted though. Bed in upstairs master needs replacing- caves in center. Beautiful sunsets!!!!!!! Overall good experience- just needs a little work to make it top notch!
