Jáchymov STARt point no 41 - Rezidence K Lanovce

• The place is small, but very well-organized and has everything - plenty of storage room, enough hooks and shelves in the bathroom (which is not always a given!) • Everything is new and in perfect working condition • The kitchen is well-equipped, there's even a knife sharpener! • Good soundproofing • Blackout curtains 😍 • Sweep set and a broom in the unit, very handy when you're traveling with little kids • Close to the town center, nice walking trails around, and Klínovec is just outside the door • Elevator in the building • Easy self check-in and check-out • Private storage for bikes and such (we didn't use it, but it is there 🙂)

• The parking spot is a little farther up the street, but you can briefly stop in front of the building to load/unload the trunk; the street is quiet and there isn't much traffic

The apartment and building is newly renovated and very comfortable, with modern design and fittings. There is a large and easy to access storage room on the ground floor for bikes or ski equipment. The apartment has everything you need for a stay away from home. Situated just 6 minutes drive from the Klinovec Ski Area, where you also find large, free parking area. The ski passes are a fair price for Czechia and the conditions of the pistes. Tip: Sunday is quieter than Saturday if you ski. It’s a pity the reception is only open from 08:00 - 10:00 daily as you need to physically check-in the morning after you arrive, which isn’t convenient if you really want to get to the slopes for the early run up the mountain.

The apartment parking space is 150m from the apartment and the spaces are so small that with both neighbours parked before us, I simply could not get my car between the two and had to go park in someone else’s spot at the risk of getting towed.
