House On the Hill Overlooking

I suggest having a scooter or motorcycle, didn’t expect our rental car to not go all the way up.

The view fr the house was breathtaking - perched on a hill, w a 130 degree view of the seas north of Camiguin, w White Island in the center. Awesome.

Pretty isolated and quite dark at night, which can be concerning for some people. Very steep cemented but narrow road leading fr the main road, accessible only by motorbike or by foot, requiring a degree of fitness, and age, to traverse.

The house feels so relaxing with a great view of the sea and the famous White Island of Camiguin. It gives a REALLY nice view of the sunset. The house is surrounded with nature which is very perfect if you are really looking for a place to get closer to nature. The house has no neighbors. The nearest house will be the owner's house seated just a little bit below the accommodation. So you will really own the place, together with the surroundings, all by yourself. Which I really loved since it gave the peaceful vibes that I wanted. The house is also near the town proper. But you will need a scooter/motorcyle/car/habal to go to the nearest store. Camiguin is just a small province and habal/scooter is the most basic form of transportation in the island so anywhere you stay, you will really need a ride to get around but it won't take too much time. The house is clean. The place is very spacious with its own kitchen. The balcony is very relaxing with a very great view. The shower room is amazing as well - it's an outdoor shower room. The water pressure is good with hot and cold option. The bedroom is very spacious. The owner is also VERY kind and accommodating. You can contact him anytime if you need anything during your stay. His house is located just below the accommodation so it gives a feeling of security as well and you know that he could entertain for your needs instantly since he just lives nearby. I was able to drop my baggage before the check-in time since I arrived early in Camiguin before I went on with my tour. He also drove me to the airport at my last day. He actually offered to pick me up upon arrival but I had already arranged that beforehand. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here for 4D3N. I did not experience any problems at all.

Big & nice house with a huge terrace to chill, great location for food and tourism, and absolutely superb views over the sea. A perfect spot for the holidays. Fully equipped. Host always available, very helpful and kind - he even arranged a scooter rental and a pick-up/drop-off in the airport.

The shower barely has any pressure, which would make it very difficult to wash hair if they're long/thick. The foam mattress is not comfortable : a slope is created towards the heaviest person, and it makes it hard to find a comfortable sleeping position. Not recommended if you have a sensitive back. The slope to access the house can become quite slippery when it rains so it's better if you're comfortable with driving a scooter. With this in mind, I would still recommend staying here !
