Casa Dona Amélia

We were welcomed very well; the property is calm, clean and new; best sleep in weeks. The breakfast is also perfect.

If I could rate this guesthouse 100 out of 10, I absolutely would! This was so much more than just a place to stay, it was a truly wonderful experience. Dona Amélia was traveling around Europe during my stay, so I was welcomed by her daughter and son-in-law. They are such lovely people who treat their guests like family rather than just people staying at their place. They even prepare breakfast for everyone themselves in the kitchen every morning, which is such a lovely touch. At one point I mentioned that I love having a toasted sandwich for breakfast, and they made one for me the very next morning! Such a sweet gesture. Thank you so much for that! One day they had a barbecue with the guests from Italy, and unfortunately I couldn't join them that time. On my last day, since there were no other guests arriving, they kindly let me stay until 5pm, because my transfer was scheduled for the late evening. And to make sure I wouldn't spend the whole day with nothing to do, they even invited me to go with them for lunch at a restaurant on the river. It was an amazing experience! And of course, the accommodation itself deserves a mention. The chalets are brand new, everything is spotless and feels fresh, the bed is super comfortable, and the shower is fantastic! Honestly, this is the best place to stay in Barreirinhas. I would recommend it to everyone and if I ever come back, I wouldn't even think twice about staying here again!

Posizione perfetta a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare il parco nazionale dei Lencois. A Casa Dona Amelia troverete persone eccezionali, una colazione tipica buonissima preparata al mattino, camere nuove e pulite. L’esperienza ci ha soddisfatti a pieno!

A hospedagem tem excelente custo benefício. E ao entrar na casa você se sente totalmente acolhido como se estivesse na casa de um parente. Café da manhã delicioso, preparado com carinho, e se der sorte, regado a histórias incríveis.

Colocarei aqui esta menção, apesar de ao meu ver não ser uma característica negativa, mas somente para próximos usuários se atentarem na descrição do próprio local. O chuveiro não é elétrico, porém não faz falta alguma, pois a água sai a uma temperatura ótima para o local.
