It is a split-level single-family house/chalet with large backyard at the end of a dead-end street surrounded by forest conservancy on three sides. The house can sleep 8 (with 5 fixed beds) most comfortably, but can accommodate max of 10 people with two additional single cot size rollaway beds (stored in the closet ). You can unfold them and put them anywhere you like.

We have exterior surveillance camera installed at the front door, above the garage, at the upper back deck and lower back deck.

Street parking is prohibited at all time in all seasons (city regulation) due to snow removal, street services by large machine equipment. Violation may result in your car being damaged, fined, ticketed, and towed away.

You will have access to the entire house and the two-car garage. The 1-car garage on the right side and labeled closets are for owner/housekeeping use only.

Welcome to Tahoe City! We`re just minutes from the Palisades and Homewood resorts, the lake, the 23-mile bike/pedestrian trail network, and the charming boutique stores, fine restaurants, and grocery stores of downtown Tahoe City.

Driving is the main method of transportation here. In winter, it`s best to use vehicles equipped with 4 wheel drive, snow tires, or snow chains - the streets can get icy. We are also close to one of the Tahoe Area Rapid Transit (TART) bus and shuttle stops. In summer, you can take the Tahoe City bike paths into town and enjoy a lovely ride by the Truckee river.

1. We require the lead guest who books the reservation must be at least 25 years old.

2. We have no-pet policy. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without host approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

3. Our occupancy includes an additional two cot size rollaway beds which are normally stored in closet. Additional linens for them can be provided upon request. daily rate covers up to 8 guests, the 9th and 10th guest will incur extra per-person-per-day fee, they will be reflected in your quote, be sure to enter accurate number of guests.

4. Bookings are not confirmed until guest signs the vacation rental agreement. The agreement will be sent after we accept your Airbnb booking request. You, the lead guest will receive an invite from Docusign. Please read the agreement carefully and sign it online using Docusign digital signature.

5. In the winter, we strongly recommend that guests arrive in a vehicle with 4WD. Snow tires are best, but snow chains will also help. Our street is on an incline and can be difficult to navigate in poor conditions without the above measures. Check Caltrans site ahead of time for road condition.

6. There may be snow, ice, icicles around the exterior of the house, road, driveway, staircases, back decks. Beside driveway, front stairs might not be shoveled all the times. Guests are welcome to either use our shovels/brooms to remove snow from exterior staircases or contact us for contractor recommendations. Do not stay near the roof edges, falling icicles can be very dangerous.

10. Bears are often spotted, no trash, food should be left unattended. Remove all food from your car, dispose trash only in the metal brown Bear Box and keep the box latched. Trash collection is in the morning on every Tuesday.

- No pets
- No camp fire, fire pit, BBQ - prevent fires
- Do not leave food in the car or garage - prevent bear break-ins.
- All trash must be inside the metal Bear Box. Trash left outside will attract bears.
- No smoking, recreational drugs, marijuana. Odor removal fine is $1000.
- Shoes must be off inside.
- No music or loud noise outside the house - county Good Neighbor policy
- All overnight guests must be registered guests. The property has a maximum of 10 people at any time, including daytime visitors.
- Absolutely no street parking (city regulation)
- Avoid using white towels for dyed hair, makeup removal
